PROGRAMME SUMMARY
Hypnotherapy is well known for its success in helping people to stop smoking or lose weight, but it can also be used effectively when dealing with panic attacks, anxiety, phobias, depression, low self-esteem, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and even some children’s problems. It is a drug free treatment which uses a light form of hypnosis to assist a client to feel calm and relaxed, hence more receptive to positive suggestions.
There are two types of Hypnotherapy, as follows:
Suggestion Therapy
This is a light relaxing state of hypnosis which heightens suggestions and visualisations to help the Client deal with symptoms and effects, but not the root cause of problems. Suggestion Therapy is effective in dealing with stopping smoking, losing weight, nail biting, examination nerves and many other problems.
Analytical Hypnotherapy (Hypno-Analysis)
Hypno-analysis is an aid to assessment of the root causes of problems. It is useful in dealing with depression, panic attacks, anxiety and self-esteem.
