PROGRAMME SUMMARY
Homeopathy is a natural, safe and non-toxic system of medicine, which is suitable for all ages and stages of life, including pregnancy. It works by treating the person as a whole, taking into consideration a person’s symptoms, feelings and thoughts in an holisitic way, to resolve the causes of imbalance and disharmony which can disrupt core health. Homeopathic remedies stimulate the body's natural tendency to heal itself and are well known to be very effective in the treatment of acute aliments, such as bruises, colds etc……as well as having exceptional success rates in treating long-standing chronic ailments. The speed at which relief is felt will depend on the ailment being treated. In acute cases, this can be very fast indeed, but in more chronic conditions, recovery rate will depend upon the nature and duration of the illness and on individual response. Homeopathy is a Complementary Medicine, which means it can be used alongside treatments prescribed by doctors (for example, it is often used to soothe the side effects of prescribed drugs).
