| PROGRAMME SUMMARY The aim of counselling is to provide assistance and support to a person with a view to enabling that individual to better manage life’s problems. It provides the opportunity for a client, in total confidence, to talk through problems and emotions with an experienced practitioner who, in turn, will listen attentively and offer such advice as might be deemed suitable to assist the client in dealing with distress or difficulties.
Counselling can help, inter alia, in dealing with: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, bereavement, anger, panic attacks, OCD and eating disorders.
