The Broadstone Clinic offers traditional Chinese medicine which includes Acupuncture, dietary therapy, patent herbal medicine and therapeutic exercise.
Our Practitioners adopt an holistic view of illness which takes into account all aspects of a person’s life when making a diagnosis and determining treatment. This is quite different from the purely symptomatic approach used by the NHS, chiropractors etc.
The treatments we offer also include facial rejuvenation, for those who prefer a non-invasive procedure. For details of how Acupuncture works, and the nature of the treatment, visit: www.acupuncture.org.uk and www.acupuncturedorset.co.uk.
Should clients prefer to be treated without the use of needles, an Acusean device (electrical pulses) can be used.
If you wish to ascertain whether Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can help you, you can book a free 25-minute consultation with our Practitioner to discuss your problem, and subsequently decide upon your best course of action.

FACIAL REJUVENATION USING ACUPUNCTURE
The British Media tends to focus on surgical procedures, or the injection of substances like Botox, when addressing facial rejuvenation and many people have achieved their personal goals through such routes. However, the Broadstone Clinic acknowledges that it will not suit everyone and offers the alternative of ‘cosmetic’ Acupuncture.
The treatment involves the use of very fine needles (0.16millimetres – not much thicker than a human hair) at appropriate points on the face to aid the relaxation of muscles and hence smooth the skin. This is combined with a traditional Chinese diagnosis to assess overall health and constitution. Our Acupuncturists use body points, along with face points, to improve overall well-being and help reduce the effects of stress, tension and life in general.
